| What is HAFA...? HAFA is SHORT SALE Program sponsored by the US GOVERNMENT. HAFA stands for HOME AFFORDABLE FORECLOSURE ALTERNATIVES PROGRAM. A Short Sale gives the Homeowner a Good Way to Avoid, in a Large Part, the Serious Negative Impact that a Foreclosure will have on his/her Credit History for many years.

Dear Home Owner,
I am a Realtor with 19 years of experience, who specializes in short sales. If you are reading this letter it is most likely because you are behind your monthly payments of your mortgage and you may have already received a Notice of Default.
A Notice of Default is the first step a lender takes in the foreclosure process. A Foreclosure Sale may have serious financial and credit consequences that will last for several years. This can be avoided.
