| How to Increase Your Chances to Succeed in USA
All of us, who has been born abroad, know that this new country of ours has very broad horizons for all. Truly, here, there are running rivers of honey and milk. This is the Promised Land. These broad horizons makes anyone to begin to experience the ?American Dream?. It is this dream that will impulse you to work very hard. In addition to work hard, to succeed, it is necessary to cultivate personal skills that will make it possible.
One of the first things we have to understand and respect is the democratic system of the nation and the values supporting this system. I would say that one of these values is the respect to freedom and tolerance towards ideas and culture of others. This is a great country with a cultural and ethnic diversity. I point out this necessity, as it is the corner stone that will allow us to adapt to the culture and above all to function in our professions and endeavors, whatever they are.
A second element of success is the respect to the laws and institutions. Very quickly, we need to understand that this country is the result of the dream of the Founder Fathers. They had a dream that was embedded in the Constitution and its Laws. Its laws are protective and in many instances very strong. The respect to this framework is the one that will allow us to flow with ease and also be seen as an ?asset? to this country. These respect has forged the character of its citizens.
A third point that is important to understand is that richness and education is possible for all. Wealth is also available for all. We have to understand that we can reach the point that we have visualized reaching. There are no actual limitations.
A fourth element is to develop specific abilities such as a career or a skill as well as to develop physical and emotional conditions in accordance with our goals. We have to remember that there exists the concept of competition; that there exists the concept of excellence, and that there exists the concept of offer and demand.
A fifth element is to understand the dynamic of the economy of this country. Here, there exists a multiplicity of vehicles of the individual economic growth. There exist, for instance, the stock and bond markets. Also, people may choose to become a business person, own their own business and become an investor owning several companies and being financially independent.
The larger question that all of us make is, how to acquire the capital to start one these ideas. In fact, there are two paths, talking realistically: one is the disciplined saving and the other is the purchase of some real estate. I would like to expand myself on this later point.
A fundamental step toward the economic success is to buy your own home. Having the keys to your own home, is also having the keys toward the future economic development. Fortunately, here in the USA the homes tend to grow in value. In other words, after a period of time, your home will have a price higher than what you owe. When this happens, the owner may refinance the debt and cash out a part or all of the equity. Having this capital in your hand you then can refinance your dream. For the dream, that you have prepared yourself earlier.
I am affirming this because I have worked in real estate for over 14 years together with mi wife Guadalupe. We have seen with pride and joy to a lot of families realizing their dreams in this way. Now, many of them are entrepreneurs, including ourselves. For these reasons is that we love Real Estate, because it left us with a feeling of contribution. We have touch positively to so many families.
